We are excited for an evening to showcase what the students have been learning this year and also to celebrate 80 years of Christian education in Lacombe! Take the opportunity to go through all the classrooms and see what each grade has on display. There are also Buddy Group 80th Anniversary art projects on display throughout the school.

Our Junior High Students are going hungry for a good cause! They’re participating in ‘FastForward’ through World Renew and have 5 hours left (out of 30) until their next meal!

Last weekend was a busy one for our Junior High sports teams! The A Boys finished second at the 2J CWAJHAA championship and the A Girls were the 2J Champions! The JH Hockey Team won the trophy at the Christian School wrap-up tournament! Congratulations on a great season!

Congratulations to our A Girls Basketball team on winning the Wolf Creek League Championship! Congrats to College Heights Christian School on second place! Encouraging to see both teams start off the game with a huddle and a prayer together.

Just a few years after opening the one-room school in 1945, attendance had grown and they needed more space. A second teacher was hired and the students were split into 2 classrooms, one in the schoolhouse and the other in a basement room in the nearby Woodynook CRC.

Yesterday, one of our Grade 5 classes got to see the lungs and heart from a calf up close and personal!

Kindness creates connection. Being included, encouraged, or truly listened to can shift someone’s whole day.
