It’s our last week of camp! We are combing all of the STEAM activities and have a different theme each day! Camp runs from 9am-3pm with drop off as early as 7am and pick up as late as 5pm! We still have a few spots! Sign up ASAP!
Yesterday was one of those THIS is why we do what we do days at Lacombe Learning Hub. 💙
We had kids ranging from 6 to 13 years old all working on the SAME challenge a four-quadrant coordinate graphing mystery picture!
Here’s what makes that pretty incredible:
Four-quadrant graphing is a skill students typically encounter in the later elementary/junior high years,but yesterday, our youngest learners were right there beside the older kids, plotting positive and negative coordinates, problem-solving, checking their work and watching their mystery pictures come to life.
Did every child approach it the same way? Nope.
Did they all need the same amount of support? Nope.
Could they ALL participate, learn and feel successful? Absolutely.
That’s the magic of LLH.
We don’t believe a child’s age or grade should put a ceiling on what they’re allowed to explore. We meet kids where they are, give them the support they need, and then let them surprise us with what they can do.
And yesterday… they absolutely did.
Ages 6–13. One challenge. Different levels of support. A whole room full of success.

THE WINS THIS SUMMER HAVE BEEN ASTRONOMICAL!
We need to take a moment to celebrate what has been happening at Lacombe Learning Hub, because these aren’t just academic wins, they are reminders of what can happen when kids are surrounded by people who believe in them.
Two students who had been told they couldn’t take Math 10C took the course—and PASSED. Hard work, concentration, support and someone saying, “Yes, you CAN do this.”
One student who had been told she would never pass Physics didn’t just pass—she finished with an AMAZING grade!
One student came to us completely blocked when it came to writing. In under two months, that student successfully completed a high school English course—with excellence.
And then there are our incredible SUMMER CAMP KIDS!
Here’s the secret they didn’t know…
While they thought they were simply coming to camp to build, create, experiment, play games, make friends and have FUN, our teachers were intentionally planning activities at their individual levels to strengthen skills, build confidence and prepare them for the grade ahead.
They thought it was summer camp.
We knew learning was happening the entire time. 😉
This is what happens when programming is designed by passionate, experienced, award-winning educators who understand the science of learning AND know how to make kids excited about it.
But perhaps our biggest win this summer wasn’t a mark or a completed course.
It was watching students begin to believe:
“Maybe I CAN do this.”
Sometimes a student doesn’t need someone to tell them what they can’t do.
They need someone standing beside them saying:
“You can. Let’s figure out how.”
And THAT is what we do at Lacombe Learning Hub.
We could not be prouder of our students. What. A. Summer.

LITTLE HUBSTERS IS OFFICIALLY GROWING!
Our first registrations are officially in, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our Little Hubsters this September!
Little Hubsters is not your traditional preschool.
Designed for children ages 3–5, this private early-learning experience combines intentionally small groups, highly individualized attention, and exceptional programming led by certified, Master’s-educated teachers.
We’re creating a place where little learners build confidence, independence, curiosity and a genuine LOVE of learning, long before they enter kindergarten.
