Maple Grove Elementary

Latifah Abdu, Maple Grove graduate of 2014, came back for a visit on June 1st. Latifah shared her journey from being a young girl in Lachine playing house league soccer, to today being a PROFESSIONAL SOCCER PLAYER! ⚽️
Latifah first played professionally in France, then joined the Montreal Roses FC, and now plays for the Vancouver Rise FC.
She answered many questions and signed some autographs. Staff members were happy to reconnect with their former student (when asked, Latifah said her favourite teacher was Mme Turcotte 😊). It was a lovely morning. Thank you Latifah!!

Our Grade 4-5-6 students participated in the annual LBPSB Track and Field Event that took place on May 27th 🏃🏽‍♂️ what a beautiful day it was!!! ☀️

Thank you to all our wonderful volunteers and staff for their support in making this day a huge success.
