What an incredible weekend at the 2026 Summer Provincial Trials!

Camden Magneson had an outstanding meet. She posted 5 personal best times, qualified for 2 A-Finals, and brought home an impressive Silver Medal in the 50 Breaststroke!

The SilverRays Invitational at Kinsmen Sports Centre this past weekend marked the first long course meet of the season, and our Lac La Biche Whitecap swimmers wasted no time testing themselves against the competition.
With new events on the schedule for all four athletes, the weekend was filled with exciting opportunities to step outside comfort zones and gain valuable racing experience.
The hard work during the season is paying off, as all four swimmers posted multiple personal best times over the weekend, highlighting the progress they've made and setting the stage for a strong end to the season!
Capping off an impressive weekend, Laiyn Kumpula lowered her own club record in the 100m Freestyle, improving on the mark she had set just the previous weekend.
Congratulations to all four swimmers on a fantastic weekend of racing, personal bests, and new challenges—we're proud of your effort, determination, and the way you represented the team at the SilverRays Invitational!

This past weekend we had 6 swimmers attend our 4th OSC 12&u meet. We had so many great swims and personal best times! Laiyn achieved two festival times. Jackson took 4 seconds off his 50 free. Mikayla had 50 free best time. We had a total of 7 top 10 finishes, Maren 1st in 25 fly, Sloan 3rd in 100free, Laiyn had three 2nd place finishes, Easton 10th in 100back. Way to go Whitecaps, some great swimming this weekend. Good luck to those racing this coming weekend.

Great day for the Lac La Biche Whitecaps at the OSC 12 & Under meet on April 12, 2026!

All 10 swimmers put together a strong performance and came away with best times — awesome to see the hard work paying off across the board. Congratulations to Avery Solarz for some super fast swimming at her first meet, and to Camden Magneson for breaking two club records and swimming under the Provincial Trials standard in two more events!

Excited to see this momentum carry forward — well done, Whitecaps!

Huge shoutout to the Lac La Biche Whitecap Swimmers for an incredible Swimathon!

Our amazing team of 19 swimmers came together and swam a combined total of 83 kilometers — what an achievement! On top of that, they raised an impressive $3,800.00 in support of our program.

Your dedication, teamwork, and community spirit truly make waves, and we couldn’t be prouder of each and every one of you!
