What an incredible few weeks we've had at the centre! ❤️

Yesterday, we celebrated our amazing graduates as they reached an exciting milestone. We are so proud of everything they've learned, the friendships they've built, and the confidence they've gained throughout their time with us. Congratulations to all of our little graduates, we can't wait to see all the wonderful things you'll accomplish in your next adventure! 🎓

A special thank you to Lac La Biche County for generously providing the table and chair rentals, as well as the beautiful balloon arch that helped make our celebration even more special. As well as AG Brothers for the amazing catered lunch!

We also had a fantastic time during our Buckle Up for Safety event, where the children learned the importance of staying safe in vehicles through fun, hands-on activities. Thank you to everyone who helped make this educational experience so memorable, and a special thank you to Primary Care Alberta, FCSS, and the Lac La Biche Peace Officers and Firefighters for their valued partnership and dedication to promoting child safety. 🚗💙

We also went on an exciting field trip to the Air Tanker Base! The children loved getting an up-close look at the aircraft, learning about the important role the crews play in protecting our communities, and asking so many thoughtful questions. It was an unforgettable experience that sparked curiosity and excitement in everyone! ✈️🚒

Thank you to all of our wonderful families for your continued support, and to all of our community partners who help make these enriching experiences possible. We are so grateful for the opportunity to create meaningful memories, inspire learning, and celebrate these special moments with your children. ❤️

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up, and everyone in the community is welcome to attend!

We are looking for new board members and encourage anyone who is interested in supporting quality childcare in our community to join us. You don't need to have a child currently attending the daycare to get involved.

If your child is on our waitlist, this is also a great opportunity to learn more about our daycare, meet the board, and see what we're all about.

Strong community organizations need strong community support, we would love to see some new faces at our AGM!

First, we would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Lac la Biche Your Independent Grocer for allowing us to host our fundraiser at their location and for generously providing the supplies needed to make the event possible. Your support means so much to us and to our community!

A special thank you goes out to all of our amazing volunteers who gave their time and energy to BBQ and prepare burgers in the hot weather. We truly could not have done it without your hard work and dedication. 🫶

And an extra special shout-out to Sherry Cardinal and Shelley Tremblay Cardinal, who went above and beyond by making more than 200 pieces of bannock for our bannock burgers! The burgers were a huge hit, and we are incredibly grateful for the countless hours and effort that went into preparing them.

Lastly, thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our fundraiser, and helped make the day such a success. We are so fortunate to be part of such a caring and supportive community! ❤️

Today, we are celebrating someone who has been a valued part of our Little Sprouts family for many years — our wonderful casual educator, Jannessa 💛

Over the years, Jannessa has built a quiet but lasting legacy within our centre. Her gentle nature, calm presence, and caring heart have touched the lives of so many children, families, and coworkers. While she may be soft-spoken, the consistency, kindness, and comfort she brings each day have made a meaningful impact that continues to be felt throughout our daycare community.

Jannessa has been someone we can always count on whether it's stepping in wherever needed, supporting classrooms with patience and care, and creating strong connections with the children through her warm and nurturing approach. Generations of little ones have been lucky to learn and grow alongside her.

Thank you, Jannessa, for your years of dedication, compassion, and the gentle legacy you continue to leave at our centre. We are so grateful for you today and every day!

We are excited to highlight Kirandeep, a passionate educator who recently began her journey in the childcare field. She brings a flexible and creative approach to the classroom, always adapting activities to meet the unique needs and personalities of each child.

With a genuine love for learning, she enjoys discovering every child’s individual interests — whether it’s art, building, nature, music, or imaginative play — and using those interests to create meaningful and engaging experiences. Her warm energy, curiosity, and willingness to grow makes her a wonderful addition to our early learning environment.💛

Today, we want to give a very special shoutout to our amazing educator, Muskan!

As one of our wonderful casual educators, Muskan brings so much positivity, care, and energy every time she’s with the children. Her kindness, patience, and ability to connect with the kids make such a meaningful difference in our centre.

The children absolutely adore her, and we are so grateful for the support, dedication, and joy she brings to our team. Thank you, Muskan, for all that you do and for helping create such a warm and nurturing environment for our little learners. 💛

Today we want to highlight one of our casual educators, Anmol.
Her dedication and positive attitude make a meaningful impact every day. Despite working casual shifts, she consistently demonstrates reliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for early learning. She is always eager to expand her knowledge and continue upgrading her education to better support the children and team around her.

She creates a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued, respected, and heard. Through her caring nature and strong communication skills, she builds trusting relationships with children, families, and fellow educators alike. She actively engages in daily activities, supports learning experiences with enthusiasm, and steps in wherever needed to assist both educators and the children in her care.

Her flexibility, commitment, and compassionate approach make her a valued member of the team and a wonderful role model within the learning environment. 💛
