Yesterday, Portage College volunteers were at the Saddle Lake Cree Nation (Onicikiskwapiwin) serving food, greeting new friends, meeting old friends, and showing our Portage College spirit in a wonderful community.
The Community Partnership BBQ team has a busy few weeks ahead, with stops in Heart Lake, Beaver Lake, Goodfish Lake, Buffalo Lake, Elizabeth, Cold Lake, Kikino, and wrapping up on October 8 in Frog Lake First Nations 121 & 122.

We love seeing the community enjoy our McGrane Theatre at Portage College! This week, the Lac La Biche campus was filled with the sights and sounds of youngsters practicing for their upcoming music show. The performers, in the Lac La Biche County Family & Community Support Services Musical Theatre Camp, have been practicing with members of Edmonton's Citadel Theatre all week in for their family and friends show on the McGrane Stage on Friday at 1:30 pm. From their rendition of Annie's It's a Hard Knock Life, you can bet your bottom dollar it'll be a crowd-pleaser!
