Our teacher, Miss Laurie Lemaigre, made an incredible commitment—she volunteered to shave her head if we raised $5,000 for our playground, while also showing support for her sister Viv, who has been bravely battling cancer.

We are proud to share that we didn’t just meet our goal—we surpassed it, raising an amazing $7,048.50!

This would not have been possible without the generosity of our donors:
Sandstar Graphics ($100), KFC ($2,500), School Staff 50/50 ($1,313.50), Brenda Montgrand ($30), Korey Laprise ($100), Farris Lemaigre ($200), Sean Cheecham ($251), Candy Craze ($425.50), Matthew Wallace ($150), Toni Lemaigre ($100), Juliane Janvier ($100), Ranelle Sylvestre ($30.50), Sharon Halsall-Park ($20), Celine Gailey ($200), Angela Robertson ($25), Robert & Beverly St. Pierre ($333.50), Pat Wyand ($100), Kaylie Janvier & Family ($20), Crystal Sylvestre ($250), Jen Ibanez & Family ($500), and Janvier’s Sweet Treats & More ($300).

Thank you to everyone who contributed—your support truly made a difference.

Over the past three days, we had the pleasure of celebrating all of our Grade 1–5 students. Each student was recognized with virtue awards, attendance awards, and entered into prize draws for bikes and scooters.

A special thank you to Petit’s Grading for their generous donation of a scooter and bike for each grade. In total, our school proudly gave away 33 bikes and 5 scooters to our Grade 1–5 students.

We would also like to extend our appreciation to all of our parents and caregivers for their dedication in getting their children to school each day. Your support makes a difference. Thank you as well to our teachers and educational assistants for the hard work and care they put in to make this a successful year for our students.

Following each ceremony, families were able to gather and enjoy snacks and drinks together. It was a wonderful three days of celebrating and recognizing the efforts and achievements of all our students.

The school gave out 6 bikes, 5 e-bikes and 5 e-scooters with helmets.

Petit’s Grading donated 1 e-scooter and 1-e-bike with helmets for our graduates.

We were proud to present our special awards:

* Darin Uhrich Academic Award – Tyler Jr. Janvier
