🚴‍♀️🌿 Join us for La Broquerie's 1st Annual Community Trail Ride! 🌿🚴‍♂️

The R.M. of La Broquerie is excited to invite residents and visitors to our 1st Annual Community Trail Ride on Sunday, September 13 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM, starting at 22 Arena Street, La Broquerie, MB.

This guided community ride will be led by a local trail guide and will include stops at all of the landmarks along our trail system, giving participants the opportunity to learn more about the history, features, and beauty of our community trails.

We are thrilled to welcome Patty Wiens (), Winnipeg's Bike Mayor, who will be cycling all the way from Winnipeg to participate in the event alongside her team. We are excited to welcome Patty and her crew to our community and share this special day with fellow cycling enthusiasts.

A special thank you to La Bikequerie (https://labike.ca/), who will be on site providing FREE bike tune-ups before and after the ride, helping riders get trail-ready and keeping bikes rolling smoothly throughout the event. La Bikequerie will also have bicycles available for community members who do not have a bike but would still like to participate in the ride. If you are interested in borrowing a bike for the event, please email [email protected] to make arrangements.

Following the trail ride, join us at the picnic shelter for a free BBQ, where participants can relax, connect with fellow riders, and celebrate our incredible community trail network.

If you’d like to make a full day of it, stick around after the day’s activities and join us for Fall Supper from 4:00-7:00 PM at École Saint-Joachim! 🍂

Journée de développement professionnel 🌿

Quelle magnifique journée d’apprentissage, de réflexion et de collaboration pour notre équipe!

Nous avons commencé la journée en redécouvrant notre mission, en prenant le temps de réfléchir à nos valeurs et à notre engagement envers les enfants, les familles et notre communauté.

Par la suite, nous nous sommes divisés en deux groupes afin de vivre des formations enrichissantes.

🔬 Un premier groupe a participé à un atelier STIM (Sciences, Technologies, Ingénierie et Mathématiques), animé par M. Alain Laurin, où créativité, exploration et apprentissage étaient au rendez-vous.

🌲 Le deuxième groupe a accompagné Mme Lise de Momenta pour approfondir l’analyse des risques en milieu forestier, une formation qui nous permettra d’offrir des expériences extérieures toujours plus enrichissantes et sécuritaires.

Ces occasions de perfectionnement nous permettent d’approfondir nos connaissances, de développer de nouvelles compétences et de continuer à nous outiller afin d’offrir la meilleure qualité éducative possible aux enfants.

Pour le dîner, nous avons été gâtés avec un délicieux repas de côtelettes offert par HyLife, dans le cadre de leur levée de fonds au profit de Helping Hands. Un immense merci pour cette belle générosité et ce précieux soutien à la communauté!

Un grand merci également à M. Alain Laurin et à Mme Lise de Momenta pour leur passion, leur expertise et les précieux apprentissages qu’ils ont partagés avec notre équipe.

Une journée inspirante qui nous rappelle que la formation continue, la collaboration et les partenariats sont au cœur de notre réussite. 💚
