Reformed education seeks to glorify God. It does this in conjunction with the home and church. By leading students to the Scriptures, it shows them what is foundational, and it spurs them on to continue to study for themselves, knowing that the Holy Spirit brings faith and enlightenment through the proclamation of the Word. Reformed education confronts students with their need for the saving work

of Christ. With this knowledge, reformed education seeks to explain to the students the antithesis evident in academic disciplines and the culture in which they live and learn. Students are made aware that the answers to life’s questions are to be first sought in the Scriptures which “…is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for reproof, for doctrine, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete for every good work.”

A week ago we could welcome over 130 grandparents and grandfriends to Providence.
Students welcomed them at the door and the Hospitality Committee provided refreshments. After a program outlining various classes and a performance by the Providence Small Choir, grandparents were welcome to tour through the classrooms to see first hand what the students are busy learning. They were treated to delicious soups, buns, and fruit in the common room for lunch.
We are thankful for the opportunity to celebrate them and their contributions to our school.

This past Friday evening, we celebrated the many talents and gifts God has bestowed on our students at the Festival of Praise. The program opened with musical performances, poetry readings, and congregational singing. Guests were then invited to enjoy a gallery walk featuring a wide range of artistic expressions. Cake, coffee, and cold beverages were available during this time as well. We later gathered once more to be blessed by the musical talents of the Providence Small Choir.
We thank our Heavenly Father for the diverse gifts He has given our students, and we are grateful to the students for sharing their talents with us.

Thankful to our Heavenly Father that we are able to move forward with the new addition. There has been a lot of activity over the last few weeks both in and outside the construction site. Construction fencing could be removed so that grading and leveling could be completed making way for grass seed. It is so wonderful to look outside and once again, see an unobstructed view of our beautiful property.
Inside there are many changes as well. The gymnasium floor coating is being applied, work in the kitchen is progressing, and fans and ventilation systems could be installed.
Please continue to remember this project in your daily prayers.
