You are welcome to use one of mine at your lesson but you will need one to practice at home. I sometimes have them available for purchase. At times I might recommend a book that you will have to buy. I also recommend that you buy a metronome and an electronic tuner. Guitar lessons are $25.00 for each ½ hr. (This rate of $50.00 per hour is based on an average cost for music lessons across the count
ry.) You may book one lesson at a time and pay as you go if you like. These lessons can be paid for on the day of the lesson but must be scheduled in advance and will be rescheduled and made up if missed but I must get notice of cancellation on my message machine before noon on the day of the scheduled lesson. If I do not get notice you will have to pay for my time…so when you come for the next one you’ll have to pay $50.00. Most people find this hard to swallow so I came up with the following idea. If you pay $100.00 in advance, I will book 6 sessions for you (4 at $25.00 + 2 FREE) bringing your cost down to a little less than $17.00 a lesson. These lessons will not be rescheduled if you miss and you do not have to give notice if you can’t make it. This way, if you miss one or two, you will not feel like you’ve lost anything and if you make it to all six you will have saved 50 bucks! There are 10 months in a season (September to June) in which we should be able to schedule 40 sessions. If you are able to pay for the whole season in September it is $600.00 and I’ll book 40 sessions. (24 at $25.00 + 16 FREE) bringing your cost down to $15.00 per ½ hour session. These are not refundable for any reason. If you decide half way through the season that you don’t want to come anymore you’ll have to take the loss. If you make it to all 40 lessons you will have saved $400.00! Please note that it may be necessary to schedule 2 sessions in one week a few times throughout the season in order to get 40 booked. Group Lessons – Maximum 3 People
The group rate for 2 people is $75.00 per person for 4 X 45 minute sessions booked and paid in advance. For 3 people it is $60.00 per person for 4 X 45 minute sessions booked and paid in advance. No make-ups. If one person in the group has to miss a session they can get the notes from someone else in the group. Workshops – Up to 10 People
For larger groups (4 to 10 people) in a workshop setting at a location of your choice the cost is $200.00 for a 2-hour workshop with a 10-minute break. For $500.00 I will do a one-day workshop (10 AM to 4:30 PM with breaks as follows: 10 min. at 11 AM, 30 min. at 12:30 and 10 min. at 2:30 PM)
For groups larger than 10 people add $10.00 per person but I wouldn’t recommend having more than 15 people or so as I will not be able to give much individual attention to those that need it.
