We are excited to announce our upcoming Chocolate Bar Fundraiser!

On Wednesday September 23, students in grade 1-8 attended an assembly with a representative from World’s Finest Chocolates, where they learned more about the fundraiser and the delicious chocolate they will have the opportunity to sell while developing their entrepreneurial skills.

We are asking for your support as we work together to raise funds for our playground fundraiser and other school initiatives that benefit our students and school community.

🍫 How It Works

Each participating student will receive one box of peanut-free World’s Finest Chocolates, containing 40 bars and featuring 6 delicious flavours:

Caramel
Almond
Crispe
Milk Chocolate
Pretzel
Wafer

🍫 Bars are 2 for $5.00 - Each complete box sells for $100

Our school earns $50 in profit from every box sold. If we sell 300 boxes, we would raise $15,000 to support our school! 🎉

Students can sell chocolates to family, friends, neighbours, teammates, colleagues and others in their community, making the Thanksgiving long weekend a great time to get started. Unsold bars may be returned.

🍫 Prizes

There are lots of opportunities to win while helping our school!

Sell your complete box and be entered for a chance to win a $50 gift card of your choice!

Welcome back! We hope you all had a wonderful summer and are settling into a great first week back at Willow River!

LOOK WHAT WE ACCOMPLISHED, OTTERS! 🦦

We are so excited to share that last school year, our Willow River community raised an incredible 102% of our annual fundraising goal!

We couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of our students, families, staff and community. Every donation, fundraiser, purchase and volunteer hour helped us get there. 💙💚🤍

We also want to give a very special thank you to our AMAZING anonymous donor, who generously offered a 3× matching donation throughout the month of June. Your generosity made such a HUGE difference and helped give us an incredible finish to the year. We are beyond grateful for your support!

Last year, we reached 51% of our total playground fundraising goal! Can we do it again and get Willow River students their playground? 🛝

We have lots of fun ideas in the works to help with our fundraising efforts this year and we would love to have our Willow River community be part of it!

If you’d like to get involved, we’d love to see you at our first School Council meeting on Wednesday, September 23 at 6:30pm in the Library.

Let’s see what we can accomplish together this year! 🦦 Otterly amazing things are ahead!
