Today's turnout at the education symposium demonstrates the importance of a fully funded education system.

“Instead of Doug Ford pouring out a bottle of whiskey, he could be focused on fixing our schools, creating (a) good, healthy learning environment and good local jobs for the economy,” said Waterloo MPP Catherine Fife, an opposition New Democrat.

"Our custodians are run ragged. They call me, they e-mail me daily because there's not enough of them and they need help, they need resources and they need to be funded properly...How are we supposed to maintain our schools like that?" Gregory Patterson, OSSTF
