Conestoga’s WOWW - Women Only Welding Workshop is an introductory, hands-on workshop designed for women who want to explore the art of welding. No previous experience is required.
Date: Saturday, June 13, 2026
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Participants will learn through both practical and theoretical components and create a small take-home project.

: Conestoga students are putting innovation, creativity and hands-on learning into action.
At the 2026 Tech Showcase, final-year student projects from 20 programs across the schools of Engineering & Technology and Applied Computer Science & Information Technology were presented to industry representatives as part of the selection process for Conestoga’s MasterCraft Award.
Projects on display highlighted the skill and talent of the next generation of graduates, from advanced technology solutions to creative design and applied problem-solving.
Congratulations to all students who participated and to this year’s MasterCraft Award recipients.

Conestoga Entrepreneurship Collective (CEC) is hosting Groundwork: A 10-Day Startup Challenge through Venture Lab for Tech from June 1–10.
Open to alumni, the free program includes workshops, mentorship, market validation, and building a low-fidelity proof of concept for an early-stage tech idea.

: Conestoga’s Pet Grooming students are putting their training into practice through partnerships with local shelters and service organizations.
By working with a variety of animals, students develop technical grooming skills alongside critical experience in animal behaviour, handling, and care, key components of success in the field.
These hands-on opportunities continue to strengthen the program’s focus on applied learning and community impact.
