Meet the cast of mixed(er)! MT Space is thrilled to open our 2026–2027 season with mixed(er), an Unwrap Theatre production about growing up biracial in Waterloo Region.

mixed(er) is a comedic coming-of-adulthood story about Sam, a biracial woman who returns to her parents’ home in Kitchener-Waterloo after completing her undergrad.

Between bedroom fights, hair tangles, a secret unconscious boyfriend, and a Mennonite bakery heist, Sam confronts what it means to belong — to her Black Caribbean heritage, her White mother, her friends, her city, and herself.

Join us in welcoming this incredible cast to the stage!

We lost a legend today. Dolly Parton wasn't just the Queen of Country — she was a philanthropist, a businesswoman, an advocate, and a friend to millions who never met her. From Dollywood to the Imagination Library to her quiet, constant generosity, she spent her life giving more than she ever took.

Rest easy, Dolly. Thank you for it all.
