Creativity - A study on 3-4 year olds in Hungary found that those who were given music and singing lessons were more creative than those that did not receive any musical training at all.

Memory - Even at three months of age, music can help babies remember things! Scientists now believe that music aids significantly in the learning and memory process.

Spatial Intelligence - Spatial intelligence is the ability to perceive various relationships in space and understand the visual world. A study of kindergarten children in California showed that children who were given piano lessons had a 34% better success rate in completing a jigsaw puzzle than children who were given computer lessons at the same time.

Language - Music and language have a close connection in development. They both require the ability to hear differences in similar sounds, such as “B” and “P.”

Emotional Intelligence - Music has the ability to bring on strong emotions. It can also hone babies ability to recognize mood and emotions in others!

Hey! I have just a few openings left for Private or Buddy Lessons starting in September! Tuesdays at 2:30, 3:30, 4, or 4:30! PM me if you think you might be interested! Lessons just run from September - December so it's not a huge commitment if you want to just try something new!

MindFULL Music - Social time!

The first and last 15 minutes of the class are purposefully set aside to allow connections between fellow Moms & Dads and the residents of the Retirement home! There is nothing better for a senior resident than spending time with the younger generation! It is also so healthy for Moms & Dads in this community to come together, share ideas, encourage each other, and build lasting relationships.
