In response to the bomb threats that the school received this week, the staff remain vigilant to ensure the safety of the community. Normal school operations will resume on Monday. Waterloo Region Police Service continue to investigate to determine the source of the threat. Please be assured that the safety of staff and students remains the number one priority. Thank you for your continued support.

As you are probably aware, earlier this morning an additional threat to the school was received. In the interest of safety, staff searched the building and it was determined that school operations could resume. Tomorrow we will continue the additional safety precautions we implemented today. Police will continue to investigate to determine the source of the threat. Please be assured that the safety of our community is our number one priority and we will continue to ensure this in collaboration with the Waterloo Regional Police Service.

We would like to make you aware of a situation that took place today. A threat was made known to us via social media at 1:35pm. In the interest of safety, the school was evacuated. As soon as it was determined that there was no threat, staff and students were able to re-enter the school. We commend all staff, students, and the Waterloo Regional Police for a safe evacuation. The police continue to investigate to determine the source of the threat.

Due to the worsening road and weather conditions, the School Council meeting is CANCELLED TONIGHT.

The next meeting is scheduled for April 18, 2016.
