Houston, we have a success! 🌠 The Grade 4/5 class took us on an incredible journey through the cosmos. From the rings of Saturn to the phases of the moon, their space project presentations were truly out of this world. We are so proud of their hard work, creativity, and public speaking skills! 🪐✨

Did you know that fun is actually brain food? 🧠✨ When kids are smiling, laughing, playing, and actively enjoying themselves in the classroom, their brains release dopamine. This "feel-good" chemical actually acts like a "save button" for new information! Joyful learning lowers stress and dramatically boosts memory retention. When school is fun, the learning naturally sticks! 🚀📚

A huge thank you to the Waterloo Regional Police Service for making a special visit to our school! 🚔🏫

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming WRPS Constable Mohamed to our school to teach our students all about what they do. The children had a fantastic time getting an up-close look at police work, learning about community safety, and asking lots of brilliant questions. It’s safe to say we have a few future officers in our classrooms!

Thank you to all the amazing officers who take the time out of their busy schedules to connect with our youth, build positive relationships, and inspire the next generation. We are so incredibly grateful for your ongoing dedication, bravery, and service to our community. 💙👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

Play is powerful! 🧠🧱 When kids play with building blocks, they’re building essential mathematical skills. Stacking, sorting, and balancing help develop spatial awareness, early geometry, and problem-solving. Every block laid is laying the foundation for a strong mathematical mind! 🏗️📐

Here’s the scoop! 🍦 Today our preschoolers whipped up some adorable ice cream cones using paper, glue, and lots of imagination. No brain freeze here, just sweet, colorful masterpieces! 🎨✨

Vroom, vroom, splash! 🚗💨 Our little artists traded in their paintbrushes for toy cars to create some high-speed masterpieces. We loved seeing the colorful tire tracks zooming and looping all across the paper! 🎨🏎️
