This speaks to how special and important our program is. We are being taught to solve problems in healthcare, not just by looking at the technology that is out there, but by looking at the bigger picture of people using technology. It doesn't matter how well a piece of technology can fix a problem if no one buys into using it. If Change Management is IT's greatest challenge, challenge accepted.

This award recognizes a current BAHIS student(s) that has displayed a significant level of, either formal or informal, leadership within the program. This recipient(s) has greatly contributed to the success of the BAHIS program as well as considerably impacted the experiences of their peers within their community.

Criteria For the Leadership Award:
Someone who.......

1. motivates and helps organize BAHIS students to take action in achieving goals

2. is a direct reflection of the values of BAHIS students, they are authentic in all transactions

3. driven to inspire colleagues to reach their full potential

4. is passionate about the program

5. has contributed significantly in a positive way to your experience here in the program

6. takes the time help you understand concepts taught in class

7. is easily approachable to talk about any concerns / thoughts

Who is eligible?
Anyone who is a current student in the BAHIS program that has met at least 1 of the above criteria.

How do I know who wins?
Based on nominations and students responses, faculty will select the most appropriate recipient.

Wishing all of BAHIS good luck on their exams!! Each and everyone of you will do well, you are all amazing with bright futures to come. Try to stay stress free and for those students in year one and gets easier towards the end! We have all been there at one point, so please reach out to the other years for help to understand the material if you need it and don't be shy we won't bite!! Happy Exams!!
