Throwback to when exam prep felt intense and you dreamed of summer…. but now you have all these songs memorized and in your back pocket to show all your friends this summer!

Practice gets hard & repetitive, but pushing through is so worth it!

Here Liam plays “Waltz in B Minor” by Schubert (Level 7).

Hey students! Are you looking for a fun summer project?!?

A little reminder to pull out those studio composition books and try out your peers’ songs!

Such a great show of creativity, with selections from beginner to advanced! Send us a video of you playing someone else’s song, and we will forward it on to the composer!

Here, teacher Courtney performs Erin Kristo’s “Magical Zing.”

We miss you all and hope you’re having a fun summer!

And just like that... the school year is a wrap!

What an awesome year of learning and growing with these fun, energetic, talented students! We loved watching each of you learn new skills, take on new challenges, and share your music at festivals, exams, and recitals (see photo below)! To those not in the recital photo, we still see all the hard work you did this year!

This year is a big one, with Courtney saying goodbye to her ON students as her family takes on a big move. It was an emotional week, but she is so grateful she got to teach all her ON students and knows they are in great hands with the 3 lovely KW teachers! For those students registered in Martensville, Courtney will see you soon!

Enjoy your summer students, you've earned it! :)

❤️ Teachers Courtney, Sara, Emmy, and Winnie

We are so very proud of how much our students have learned and accomplished this year! From exploring their unique interests, to trying out new instruments, writing their own compositions, and preparing for recital and exams, we couldn't be happier to be a part of their musical journey!

Congrats to all the students who joined us at our Spring Recital yesterday (not all pictured)! We hope you enjoy the last month of lessons this year and have a wonderful summer ahead! Many more photos and videos to come :)

With performance season in FULL swing, our students are feeling all the feelings: excitement, nerves, pride, and more!

I firmly believe our job as teachers isn't just to help kids perform with technical accuracy, but also with confidence in their abilities! Through performance we learn the importance of routine practice, the ability to work through performance anxiety, and the pride that comes with sharing our gifts (whether it's our best performance or not)!

I hope this little story helps walk kiddos through stage fright, learn that mistakes are okay, and perform like they truly do believe in themselves!
