LPLL students and staff had an amazing day at Cedar Creek Gardens in Regina on Friday!

We had so much fun exploring the corn maze, visiting the cutest and friendliest animals, and trying our hand at gem mining! To top off our adventure, we enjoyed a delicious meal from McDonald’s.

A huge thank you to the wonderful staff at Cedar Creek Gardens for making our visit so enjoyable! We also want to give a special shout-out to the McDonald’s staff, who were so kind and treated the kids to free cookies. What a sweet way to end our day!

It was a fantastic adventure filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories!

Ms. Heather joined us on Thursday, and we learned all about the importance of respecting everyone’s personal space! We talked about keeping our hands to ourselves, recognizing boundaries, and making sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. It was a great learning experience for our LPLL students!

Emilee has already made such a meaningful impact on our school community. Her genuine care for our students, her support for staff, and the relationships she builds with those around her are truly special. She has a way of making people feel heard, supported, and valued.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Emilee brings to LPLL and are so excited to see her continue making a difference in this new role.

October 4 marks the National Day of Action for MMIWG2S+.

Today, we remember the lives lost and those who remain missing. We honour their families, stand with their communities, and continue to call for answers, justice, and action.

This is more than a day of remembrance. It is a day to listen, learn, and speak up!
