Friendly reminder !

On Wednesday, October 14th 2026 the students at Margaret Manson Elementary will be taking part in the annual Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research. The event will take place in the afternoon from 1:00pm-2:15pm.

All pledges will be for online donations. It is a fast and easy way to donate to Cancer Research and save paper at the same time. Please make sure to indicate the student’s name or family name when pledging.

We do not recommend students going door to door to collect donations. We suggest asking friends and family members as an alternative. All pledges must be made no later than Friday, October 23th 2026.

In case of rain, the event will be postponed to Thursday, October 15th 2026.

We look forward to a fun-filled day working together to outrun cancer!

A friendly reminder to our school community that tomorrow, September 30, we will be honoring Truth and Reconciliation Day.

We encourage students to come to school wearing something orange as a way to participate in this important day of learning, reflection, and remembrance.

Thank you for helping us recognize the importance of Truth and Reconciliation and for supporting our students in this meaningful learning experience.
