Today, we had the pleasure of thanking our wonderful parent volunteers by hosting a Volunteer Tea. It was a special opportunity to recognize the time, energy, and dedication they have given to our school community throughout the year.

We also had to say goodbye to some of our parent volunteers whose children are graduating this year. While we will miss seeing them, we wish them and their families all the very best as they begin a new chapter.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our parent volunteers. Your support, generosity, and commitment make a tremendous difference in the lives of our students and staff. Simply put, we could not do it without you. Thank you for always being by our side and for helping make our school such a wonderful place to learn and grow.

We had the privilege of hosting Sam Ojeda today. Sam Ojeda is from the Yoreme Nation located in the Northwest of Mexico.
Sam has deep respect and love for nature and the Native way of life. He is a teacher, storyteller, and a ceremonialist. Also a pow-wow drummer and singer, a flute player, a guitar player and traditional dancer. Sam Ojeda offers workshops on pow- wow dances and explains the meaning of 4 different dances (men’s traditional) his regalia and the meaning of the colors relating to the medicine wheel.
