Fall Frenzy is here at Somerset! 🍁

Here is a schedule of events and dress up days that you can plan for this week! As well as the activities that will be happening for the entire week!

All Week:

🖍️There will be a fall colouring contest with 3 winners from grades kindergarten -2, 3 winners from grades 3-5 and 3 winners from grades 6-8. Students will need to submit their best colouring pages by Friday, October 9th for judging! Sheets will be distributed to those interested this Friday, September 25.

🚜 There will be a Build Your Own Tractor contest as well. Put your building and art skills to the test and use boxes, cardboard and art supplies and make your own tractor at home for judging. Students will bring their tractors for judging on Friday, October 9th!

Please save this schedule so your children can participate in as many days as possible! We cannot wait to celebrate fall with our Panthers! 🐾🍂

Congratulations to all our runners who went to the Zone 2 Cross Country Meet at Cabot Park last week. It was a beautiful day and I am so proud of all our runners. Good luck to our runners who are moving onto the Provincial Meet in Mill River on October 17th. Info will be sent home with athletes who have advanced to Provincials. 🏃‍♀️ 🏃

📣 We Need Your Help! 📣

Home & School plays an important role in supporting our students by helping fund field trips, special events, school activities, and improvements around our school. To keep making these opportunities possible, we need more parents and guardians to get involved.

We're looking for volunteers to join a variety of committees. Whether you can help throughout the year or just contribute a few hours when needed, every bit of support makes a difference!

✅ No need to attend every Home & School meeting
✅ Flexible volunteer opportunities
✅ Share your ideas and help make a positive impact on our school community
✅ Support from Home & School Representatives

Take a look at the committee options, grab a friend and sign up for any that interest you. We're also open to new ideas and suggestions for committees that would benefit our school.

Thank you for helping make our school community stronger! 💙💛
