🌳 The Neighbourhood Parks Program is back for summer 2026!

Operated by YMCA of Eastern Ontario, this is a FREE drop-in program for children ages 6 – 12 to experience fun recreational activities at five local parks!

The program runs Mondays-Fridays from July 6 to August 28 (except the Civic Holiday on August 3).
Please note: Staff do not replace parent/guardian supervision. Children are allowed to join or leave activities or the park when they want.

Here’s the schedule:

Mondays
9-11:30 a.m. Cataraqui Woods Park
1 – 3:30 p.m. West Park

Tuesdays
9-11:30 a.m. Shannon Park
1 – 3:30 p.m. Greenwood Park

Wednesdays
9-11:30 a.m. Jim Beattie Park
1 – 3:30 p.m. Cataraqui Woods Park

Thursdays
9-11:30 a.m. West Park
1 – 3:30 p.m. Jim Beattie Park

Fridays
9-11:30 a.m. Greenwood Park
1 – 3:30 p.m. Shannon Park

Parents/ guardians should have received an email from the Limestone District School Board regarding School Climate, Bullying Prevention and Response . It’s important to take the time to fill this survey out, hopefully with the feedback parents give we can make our schools a safer environment for all.
