QCA is proud to release its first annual report in over 7 years! The report highlights all of the resources and events QCA has released throughout the past year and the impact they have had. We want to thank our hard-working 2021-22 executive for all of their accomplishments and the effort put into helping students interested in consulting find what they need to succeed. QCA is excited to partner with Accenture to host Accenture Accelerated Engagement (AAE) Day on Friday, April 8th.
This event will consist of:
• a virtual tour of Accenture's Toronto office
• a day in the life panel featuring consultants and analysts from across all departments at Accenture
• design thinking and strategy workshops
• a networking session with recruiters, consultants, and analysts
This will be a great chance to network with your Queen's classmates/peers, as well as to get to know the amazing people at Accenture!

QCA is excited to announce that our 2022/2023 Executive Team applications are now live on ComSoc!! All information concerning roles and responsibilities can be found in the hiring package on Comsoc shop.

They will be due Sunday, March 20th at 11:59 PM EST. Interviews will be held from March 21st to 25th!

QCA Presents the Finding Your Path AMA Panel!

The panel features 7 students graduating this year who will be working in a variety of different fields, including finance, consulting, tech, accounting, CPG marketing, and entrepreneurship/VC. From a array of different backgrounds and experiences at Queen’s, they are excited to answer your questions about breaking into their respective fields, some of the challenges they have faced, any advice they have for people interested in their field, and any other questions you may have!

QCA Presents our Speaker Spotlight with Alexander Carbone!

Graduating from the Commerce program in 2016, Alexander Carbone is a prime example of the variety of paths one can take when exiting consulting. After quickly moving through the ranks at Monitor Deloitte for approximately 4 years, Alexander has decided to get his MBA at The Wharton School with a major in Strategic Management and Finance. Throughout his time at Wharton, he’s been heavily involved in various finance clubs as well as taking an internship at a Toronto-based middle market private equity firm, Clairvest Group. Come listen to him speak about his experiences at Monitor Deloitte and his transition to an MBA and private equity with the opportunity to ask him questions at the end!

The event takes place at 6:30 PM EST on Thursday, February 10th. This interactive session will review the origins and significance of design thinking and will allow Queen’s students to apply empathy, the first step of Design Thinking, in a real industry case study.

QCA and EDGE are hosting a Diversity in Consulting AMA Event! Consultants from different firms will discuss their experiences with diversity and inclusion in consulting firms.
