No experience needed to take a RYA Competent Crew course. If you've been out sailing a few times, you can also go for RYA Day Skipper. Does your bucket list include chartering a sailboat and cruising those turquoise waters of the Mediterranean? You'll need an ICC or International Certificate of Competence. We can help you get that.

Topmast is a recognised RYA ICC assessment centre. You'll need Day Skipper level practical and theory skills. You can either do a straight up ICC assessment, or if you need to polish those skills a little, take RYA Day Skipper practical and theory courses. Once you've passed your ICC assessment or your Day Skipper course, you can simply apply to the RYA for an ICC. Check our "link in bio" for ICC and course links.
