SHAD Queen’s University is one of many SHAD programs across Canada. SHAD combines academics with leadership and challenge. We focus on engineering, science, technology and mathematics, and ask our students to put these to use in an entrepreneurial context not often seen in schools. SHAD demands that student stretch their individual academic boundaries and collaborate with peer groups to fulfill the demands of our difficult but rewarding activities. Queen’s University in Kingston, ON, is one of Canada’s most recognized universities and takes pride in our unique Shad program. Located on the beautiful coast where the St. Lawrence river meets Lake Ontario and in a small, friendly town, the campus is perfect for a summer program of adventure and fun. We are often asked what exactly we do at SHAD Queen’s. We plan a full schedule of events, but we like to leave it as a surprise for our participants to discover day-by-day.
