We independently publish on-going series' both in print and on-line. We continue to seek new talent. We also host comic illustration workshops for kids.

Machete Comics/HM Studio is a home based business for art and music. It was founded by Chris "Machete" Cochrane in 2005, who has been in the music and art industry for over 20 years. Chris developed a unique teaching style that both kids and adults enjoy. With himself and his partner Lonnie, Machete Comics have been commissioned for many projects throughout the decades. What an incredible day at our FIRST-EVER RAD KIDS COMIC & ART CON !

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our young (and young-at-heart!) creators. It was inspiring to see our students share their artwork and experience being real comic creators.

A huge thank you to our vendors, special guest David Day , Kingston Nexus for hosting our event, Carlos Godfrey The Punisher and the cosplayers who brought their favorite characters to life, Casey Boyce who's a fantasticly scary writer for Machete Comics, BGC south community partners for the awesome robotics demo , volunteers, parents, and families for making this event a success.

This is just the beginning! We can’t wait to see where RAD Kids Comic & Art Con goes next.
