Civil patches and clothing will be sold in the Civil library from 1:30-3:30 tomorrow! Patches will be $8 but only $5 if you also purchase 2 clothing items as well! Limited numbers so get them before they are gone!

Hey everyone! Good news, Civil merch sales are finally here! We will be selling everyday next week from 11:30-3:30 in the Civil Club office (in the Civil library). This year's designs are super hype and not to mention extremely warm and comfy for the long winter upcoming. Also, the long awaited Civil patches for your GPA's will be arriving soon. They will be sold for $8, but buy 2 pieces of clothing and get them for $5! So come on by and place an order!

Civil Club is having a contest for crest/clothing art design for the upcoming Civil clothing sales!
We will be selling T-shirts, hoodies, quarter-zips, sweat pants, toques and polos with the winner's design on them. Attached is the crest design from last year for an idea of what we are looking for but feel free to be as creative as you want! The design should be black and white like this one. We are also looking for a creative civil related quote that could be put on a tee shirt.
The winner of the contest will receive a free tee-shirt and sunglasses as well as all the glory of being the crest designer! The contest will close next Friday so start working on designs soon! Email all designs to [email protected]

Congrats to Ryan Kader for designing the winning civil patch ( #6)! Look for an order of these coming in for the new year!

Civil Club is making a custom GPA patch order, similar to the "Falling Rocks" patches for geo and "high voltage" patches in ECE. However, we need a design first!

The CIVIL PATCH DESIGN CONTEST will entail designing a patch that is representative of Civil Engineering. They will be collected by Civil Club and there will be an online poll to determine the most popular patch.

Submissions can be sent to Kristy Tu at [email protected] (also email if you have any other questions, or if you must submit a paper copy).

Keep in mind:
-Maximum 3 colours (black counts as a colour)
-Make it unique to civil
-Keep in mind what size it will probably be.
-You can submit as many times as you'd like
-It does not have to be a yellow and black square, creativity is encouraged
-Civil club will be narrowing down submissions first, and then holding an open vote

DEADLINE is Sunday, November 10 at midnight.
**Also - winner will receive a free patch and a free pair of civil sunglasses!!

If you want to buy civil clothing and/or sunglasses your absolute LAST chance is to get a hold of/find Christine Phillips before 11:00 AM on WEDNESDAY October 30th. Facebook message her OR message the Civil Club page. Remember CASH transactions only.
