📚🌍 International Day of Education – January 24, 2026 🌍📚

This year’s International Day of Education highlights powerful and timely themes, including “Learning for Lasting Peace,” “AI and Education: Preserving Human Agency in a World of Automation,” and the power of youth in co-creating education. At its heart, the day reminds us that inclusive, quality education is essential for peace, innovation, and sustainable development.

For individuals living with epilepsy and seizure disorders, education plays an especially critical role. Education helps reduce stigma, builds understanding, and ensures that students with epilepsy receive the accommodations and supports they need to succeed. As technology and AI continue to shape learning, it’s vital that human needs remain central — including accessibility, empathy, and safety for those managing health conditions.

Youth also have a powerful voice in shaping more inclusive education systems. Young people living with epilepsy are innovators, advocates, and leaders, helping to co-create learning environments where everyone belongs.

On this International Day of Education, let’s recommit to learning that is inclusive, compassionate, and empowering — so that no one is left behind, and everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. 💜

🧠💬 Bell Let’s Talk Day – January 21, 2026 💬🧠

Bell Let’s Talk Day 2026 focuses on “Taking a moment for mental health”—a reminder to pause, prioritize our own mental well-being, and connect with others to support theirs. This year, Bell is committing another $10 million to Canadian mental health initiatives, helping continue important conversations and supports across the country.

For people living with epilepsy and seizure disorders, taking a moment for mental health is especially important. So many individuals struggle daily with seizures, memory challenges, and the emotional impacts of anxiety, stress, and depression.

It’s imperative that we prioritize self-care and reduce stress as part of coping with the ongoing challenges that can come with epilepsy. Small moments of care—for ourselves and for one another—can make a meaningful difference.

💙 We encourage everyone to take a moment today and explore Bell’s Self-Care Activity Sheet, linked below, for simple ways to support your mental well-being and check in with others.

Let’s keep the conversation going—today and every day.
