Who are we?

Science Quest is a student-run organization operating on the campus of Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Science Quest strives to engage and empower youth of ages 4 to 17, through our educational in-classroom workshops, summer camps, school-year sessions, and LIT program. All of our programs work towards sparking an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) among the 5000+ youth we reach annually.

We hope you have enjoyed the first half of this summer as much as we have! As we approach August, we want to soak up the last bits of summer fun before school starts, so we are having a “bring-a-friend" 10% discount!

Here is how to access your discount, to make the most of summer’s end!

Step 1:

Sign up for a week of camp in August with a friend! If you are already registered, you can still access this discount by bringing a friend who is not yet registered for a week of camp in August!

Step 2:

Email [email protected] with the name of your child and their friend! Please CC the friend’s parents so we can apply the discount to each family!

Step 3:

Enjoy the end of the summer with lots of science fun with us at Science Quest!

One of the best parts of our Girl's Quest program is having talented presenters from many disciplines join us for workshops! This year, we have worked with the DeFrance Lab, Queen's Space Engineering, DSEC Lab, and Women in Neuro.

Thank you to each of these organizations for sharing the important work you do with our young women in STEM at Girl's Quest!

Looking for some summer fun for your little ones? Register for Kinder Creators today at sciencequest.ca!

In Kinder Creators, we use engaging experiments to spark exploration and interest in important scientific topics. Topics are age-appropriate and based off of the Grade 1 Ontario Science Curriculum, so campers can learn while having fun!

In Junior Thinkers, we expand our thinking to connect science to real world implications. Topics are age-appropriate and based on the Grades 2 and 3 Ontario Science Curriculum, so campers can learn while having fun!

Want to know more about robotics?

Robotics Camp allows kids to learn everything they would ever want to know about the world of robots! Campers will learn all about the coding, building, and energy required for a robot to work. Working with Science Quest’s variety of robots such as Jade robots, Lego Mindstorms, Spheros, Ozobots, MicroBits, and our EV3s, campers have the chance to explore how robots work.
