Revved Up

Revved Up Revved Up provides an adapted exercise program service that promotes physical activity for those with mobility impairments and developmental disabilities.

Our goal is to improve the quality of life and to encourage healthy living. We currently have two programs, Circuit and Mobility, that provide supportive environments for individuals to meet their physical and social goals. All participants are assessed during their first session with a CSEPcertified personal trainer. Following assessments, participants can attend 2 exercise sessions per week to work toward their individual goals. All participants are paired with a trained student-volunteer from Queens University. The price for a Mobility participant is $80 for a 4-month period. For more information about becoming a Mobility or Circuit participant or to inquire about current volunteer opportunities, please contact Revved Up at [email protected]

Today is National Day of Truth and Reconciliation. Today and every day, we honour the survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and acknowledge the deep, lasting trauma inflicted on Indigenous families and communities. To allow time for students, staff and community members to reflect on the continued work that needs to be done in honour of this day Revved Up is closed for the day.

Aug 4 – 7th in the Revved Up gym is Volunteer Appreciation Week! This week is meant to highlight the dedication and hard work our volunteer coaches and staff have committed all summer! Please note, we are NOT to gift give or give monetary gifts to our coaches! Instead, we will have a shout-out board in the gym where you can write some kind words about your experience this summer. We can also say thank you to our coaches during the sessions this week and give out extra high-fives or fist bumps!

Just a reminder that Revved Up will be closed on Monday, August 3rd. All session are cancelled.
