Inspired Minds Music

Last Monday, three students and I participated in the North Hastings Music Festival. It was a true joy to be there, and experience a festival beyond what is in Kingston. Many talented performers in the Bancroft Area!!

Our students, Penelope, Maya, and Amara all had great success, and all three have been selected for awards AND to perform at their ‘Festival of the Stars’ celebration.

We were so impressed with the festivals organization and approach. It was such a fun and engaging afternoon. Thank you to all of the organizers, volunteers and the adjudicator Caitlin O’Connor for such a great experience.

We hope to see you again!

A HUGE congratulations to all of the performers from Inspired Minds at the Kingston Kiwanis Music Festival this year. Our vocal students set a new record for our studio, with every participant receiving an award AND qualifying to compete at the provincial level.

This week, a few of our performers who were not able to attend the Kingston Festival will be participating in the North Hastings Music Festival. We are very excited for this opportunity!

Thanks to all and congrats to all of the students, teachers and accompanists who participated and helped prepare all of performances this year. It is always amazing to see what students are accomplishing around Kingston and how much they grow and develop musically each year.

A huge congrats to Evan for his exceptional performance in the North York Virtual Music Festival!

Evan scored 93% on both of his pieces, and has qualified for the OMFA Provincials for Level 5 Classical Guitar!

Quinn - Just Like a Pill

Music has the incredible power to heal and uplift our spirits. Whether it's soothing our minds after a long day, helping us express emotions, or simply bringing us joy, the impact of music on our mental health is profound.

It was a long week, but we had an amazing time at the Provincial Competition.

Congrats to all of the competitors. It really was exceptional to see the talented performers from all over the province.

What a great day! Amazing performances in the Senior Pop Voice competition. The performances were truly top notch, and the workshop was transformational with new and unique ways to approach repertoire and technique.

I cannot tell you how excited I am for this afternoon. These three ladies will be competing at the 2024 OMFA Provincials for Pop Voice (Ages 17-18.)

Last year, they all set a goal and committed to qualifying for Provincials and going together. To get there, at the Kingston Kiwanis Music Festival they achieved:
