QPID (Queen's Project on International Development) Queen’s Project on International Development (QPID) is a student-run organization operating out of the Queen’s Engineering Society since 1990.

Our Mission: To foster a development consciousness in the Queen's community as a catalyst for local and global change. What We Offer: Learning-based experience, opportunities to volunteer expense-free abroad, the chance to make a change at home. Queen's Project on International Development (QPID) is a student-run organization operating out of the Queen's Engineering Society since 1990. We host a variety of initiatives on campus, in Kingston, in Canada and internationally, focused on raising development awareness, and getting people to think critically about development issues.

March wrapped up our Collecting With QPID (CWQ) fundraiser for 🩵

What an incredible week! Together, we raised over $12,000 in support of youth in our community. We’re so grateful to our amazing sponsors for backing us every step of the way, and to every single person who showed up, volunteered, donated, or shared our mission.

CWQ is a reminder of what this community can do when we come together, and we truly couldn’t have done it without all of you.
