Kings Don Taiko

Kayo Murakami, a Kings DON Taiko member passed away on August 16th.

Kayo fought against breast cancer for four years.

We are so sad that we lost such a sweet, smart, and fun taiko drummer. We miss you, Kayo.

Kayo led us to explore Japanese traditional taiko songs, such as Miyake, Chichibu Yatai-bayashi, and Edo-bayashi. A lot of information on our blog was written by Kayo.

Rest in peace, Kayo.
