Back at it with a new tune! 🎹🎵
Hey Friends! It's me again, casually looking over my shoulder, probably thinking about a funny cat. But now that I've got your attention, I'd love to tell you about a new tune I just released!
Keep It Civil is the my latest track off of my EP. The song centres upon a man who I had often seen panhandling outside downtown coffee shops. Inspiration came one day as I watched and listened to the man being lectured by several policemen. There had been an altercation of some kind inside the coffee shop, which I hadn’t witnessed, but the man was being escorted out.
The narrative is easier to digest if I keep my distance; what would happen if I didn’t, I wonder: https://spoti.fi/3mogi3K
Huge thanks to Jamie Walker on guitar, Chris Hall on backup vocals + bass, and Andy Pesz on drums + mix + master + production (and likely more things that I am forgetting!). This album would never have existed without these talented humans and I can’t wait to share the stage with them and when it’s safe to do so.
If you’d like to check out the other tracks on the album, give it a spin on:

The final track of this EP will be released this Saturday. Stay tuned for a very moody finale.
Again, thank you for your continued support Ontario Arts Council - Conseil des arts de l'Ontario ❤️

Pretty darn delighted to play tunes alongside a bevy of talented peeps. Snuggle up and join us! No pants required! In fact, I think my music sounds better if wearing pajamas (or pyjamas for my Oxford English purist friends out there). Regardless of loungewear, I hope to see you (virtually) there! You don’t even need to turn on your video, I’ll know it’s you....
Tunes start at 7:30PM. Zoom link goes out one hour before show time. If you’d like the link, either send me a DM or sign up to the mailing list on their website. Wanna play?
