Learn more about Heather:
• Heather works with students from all backgrounds to develop their writing, editing, and broader academic skills (e.g., managing procrastination, time management, writer’s block, and getting back on track).
• One of her favourite things is having the chance to help students build a new sense of confidence in their writing and communication skills.
• She enjoys supporting neurodivergent and EAL students, who often face unique challenges navigating expectations within their programs.
• Heather holds a PhD in History and previously worked as an accessibility advisor at the uWaterloo Library, where she helped to advance accessible learning practices.

- Safa holds a PhD in English Language and Literature from Queen's University, with research focused on representations of marginalized youth in educational and social contexts.
