We provide care for children from birth to five years of age. We offer an All-Natural, Organic menu, and a chemical-free environment.
We believe each child is qualified to explore their environment using their own natural, inquisitive instincts, allowing them opportunities to thrive with an abundance of unrestricted learning. We provide a variety of materials, and plan activities based on the children’s interests as well as listen to their ideas on ways to expand their play and multiply their learning potential. h and safety is of great importance to us. We make every effort to ensure that all toys and equipment are in good working order. Toys, tables, and chairs are cleaned on a daily basis or as needed. We offer an all-natural, organic menu. A weekly meal plan is posted on the parent board and follows the requirements set out in the Health Canada documents “Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide”. We provide two snacks (one in morning, and one in afternoon) as well as lunch. We strive to ensure that all meals are prepared and served to maintain the highest nutritional value. We believe that providing a sense of community during mealtime allows the children to learn healthy and positive eating habits, practice their social skills and strengthen their self-help skills. Children are naturally curious, and interested in the world around them. We make every effort to encourage this inquisitiveness by providing an environment for exploration and experimenting. We understand that each child is as unique as they are resourceful. We are also aware that each child’s development and comfort level may differ. We allow children to examine, investigate, and observe at their own pace. We welcome child-initiated play with plenty of adult-supported experiences. We plan for, and create positive learning environments and experiences in which each child’s learning and development is supported.
