Formed in 1897, the Engineering Society of Queen’s University is one of the oldest representative bodies for engineering students in Canada and continues to be a leader in student initiatives. With over 3,600 members currently staying on campus, 15,000 active alumni living throughout the world, and an annual budget of $2.4 million, the Engineering Society oversees some fifty-eight student-run initiatives ranging from design projects to services to student-centered events.

December 6th marks the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Today, we honor the fourteen brilliant women whose lives were tragically taken in the Montreal Massacre.
A memorial service will be held in the Beamish-Munro Hall Atrium today from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. to commemorate the lives that were lost and stand in solidarity with all women affected by violence.
All are invited to join in-person or virtually via our Facebook livestream.
