Mulberry’s first golf tournament was a lot of fun!

A big thank you to all of our parents, students (current and alumni), and community members who came out to golf and support the tournament. We are also incredibly grateful to our volunteers for their time, energy, and support throughout the event.

We are deeply appreciative of our sponsors and donors whose generosity made this event possible, and to the organizing team for bringing everything together.

Mulberry was thrilled to have a team from Kingston Fire & Rescue visit our school this morning! Our grade school students received a presentation and had the opportunity to ask questions. All students had the opportunity to see the fire truck and sit inside. You may imagine the excitement! There were many questions about the equipment from Preschool through Grade 8 students. Thank you to each of these first responders from for their patience and willingness to engage with the various ages. We are certain that this will be a lasting memory!


&Rescue

Mulberry’s Grade 4/5 class recently celebrated the culmination of their Ancient Greece block with an inspiring trip to the Grade 5 Olympic Pentathlon at the Toronto Waldorf School. Joining students from Waldorf schools across Ontario and as far as Aurora, New York, they were grouped into ancient “city-states” and competed in events that honored grace, beauty, and truth. After weeks of dedicated training in javelin, discus, long jump, sprinting, wrestling, and long-distance running, the students embraced the spirit of the games with enthusiasm and perseverance. We are deeply grateful to the teachers and staff at the Toronto Waldorf School for hosting this memorable event.

Throughout the unit, Ancient Greece came alive across the curriculum as students engaged in learning using their minds, their hearts, and their hands. Students performed in their class play of Persephone, presented projects on their favorite Greek gods, designed and decorated their own tunics in Handwork, and captured their learning creatively in their Morning Lesson Books.

The Olympiad was a joyful celebration of learning, friendship, courage, and community. We are incredibly proud of the energy, dedication, and heart our students brought to this rich and meaningful experience.

We are seeking energetic and creative people to work with Campers aged 6 through 11 alongside our Counsellors and Directors.
