Developmental delay occurs when a child doesn't hit those milestones on time ⏳. Child development involves picking up skills and growing in physical, language, thinking, and social-emotional areas. Sometimes a delay can lead to a "catch up" phase, but in other cases, it might signal a deeper issue. That's why keeping an eye on developmental progress is crucial – catching concerns early is key! 🌟
