Hello International Queen’s Students!

The Queen’s Debating Union is excited to announce the launch of our first International Students’ Debate Workshop. This workshop will specifically focus on introducing beginner International Students to different aspects of debate that is used in Canada, and basic debating skills.

If you are an International Student who interested in debate, improving your public speaking/presentation skills, or want to try out a new activity, please fill out our interest form using the following link: https://forms.gle/z2tznHYxKSDvHwhM9. The link can also be accessed in our Instagram’s bio. You will be asked to indicate which date(s) and time(s) works best for you for the workshop - we want to be able to accommodate as many participants’ schedules as possible.

We are committed to providing a safe, non-judgemental, and educational environment for all International Students participating in the program. While all Queen’s students are welcome to attend, we are specifically gearing the content within this workshop for International Students new to debate, in an effort to improve the accessibility of debating information for students with little to no debate experience who also did not live in Canada before university.
