Sun West seeks a Behaviour Intervention Worker for Westberry Elementary School in Kindersley. This is a permanent position, 6 hours per day, every student day, starting August 31, 2026.

The Behaviour Intervention Worker (BIW) supports students with complex behavioural, social-emotional, and developmental needs within a specialized classroom setting. Working collaboratively with the classroom teacher, and school-based Learning Support Team, the BIW provides direct student support, assists in the development and implementation of individualized behaviour and learning plans, and helps foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, the ability to respond effectively to crisis situations, and a commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practices. Our new FoodMesh ticket system starts tonight! 🎉

When you arrive at FoodMesh, check out our new sign above the entrance (pictured). This will be where you see what number in line we are serving.

‼️Tickets will be available starting at 6:30 PM‼️

Here's how it works:

🎫 Starting at 630 PM, you may enter the building to grab a ticket. ONE ticket per household.
⏳ Your ticket number holds your place in line— please do not leave boxes, totes, or other items as placeholders, as they will not be accepted and may be removed.
🚪 Pick-up hours will now be from 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
📢 We'll call ticket numbers in order. Ensure to park/wait where you can still see what number we are serving. When you see your number on the screen, it is your turn to come inside. Please wait outside until it is your turn to enter the building.

🔴 Our new 24/7 audio and visual HD security system is now active. Any verbal or physical abuse is not tolerated and will be reported to the RCMP immediately.

These new systems are designed to make FoodMesh fairer, safer, and more organized for everyone.

Kindersley Fire Department Gives Back to Westberry School

On behalf of the Kindersley Fire Department, Captain Nathan Ward was pleased to present a cheque for $500 to Westberry School, accepted by Principal Katilyn Gibbons and Kindergarten Teacher Ali Burkell.

The donation recognizes and thanks the staff and volunteers from Westberry School for their outstanding support and volunteer hours during the Saskatchewan Emergency Leadership Forum, hosted in Kindersley this past May.

The success of an event of this magnitude depends on the dedication of community partners and volunteers. The Kindersley Fire Department sincerely appreciates the time, energy, and enthusiasm that the Westberry School team contributed to helping make the conference a success.
