We are excited to announce this year's bursary winners!

Each student submitted their grades along with a written essay for the opportunity to compete for a $2,222 bursary in honour of Koehler Weir. The recipients were thoughtfully selected by the Weir family, helping carry forward Koehler’s memory while supporting the next generation as they pursue their education and future careers.

Today, we recognize International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples, a day to honour the rich cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of Indigenous Peoples around the world.

This day is an opportunity to reflect on the importance of respect, inclusion, and learning from the knowledge and experiences that have shaped communities for generations.

Together, we continue building stronger communities where everyone is valued and respected.

This day reminds us of the strength and perseverance of those who challenged oppression and the importance of learning from history as we continue working toward a more equitable future.

By recognizing the past, we honour the progress made and the ongoing efforts to create a society built on dignity, respect, and equality.
