We are hiring Supply Staff for our Toddler & Preschool Programs.
Kin-Huron Integrated Day-Nursery School Co-operative Incorporated (KIDS Co-op) is a preschool program that runs September- June as we follow the Bluewater District School Board calendar.
We offer children a variety of learning experiences while working to enhance their social, cognitive, gross and fine motor skills, while also building their self-esteem and self-worth.
We strive to be a successful program by creating an emergent curriculum while consistently supporting children's development and modeling openness and acceptance to all areas of diversity. Our staff will ensure that they create strong attachments with the children and their families, while always enforcing a safe and secure environment for the children to explore and make discoveries in.
Supply Staff Job Description:
· Implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional and social development of children
· Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, taking children to local points of interest and providing opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity
· Maintain an environment that protects the health, security and well-being of children
· Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing and toilet habits
· Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children
· Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
Pay: $22.00 per hour
Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
Will need to obtain First Aid certification within a 3 month period
Will need to take an online Food Handlers Course within a 3 month period
Experience Working with Children: 1 year minimum
