Online Risa Spanish Success! ✔️
MUCHAS GRACIAS to these lovely ladies for spending the past nine weeks allowing me to share my love for the Spanish language and culture with them. We learned, we laughed and we all agreed that the course was the perfect distraction during such a wild time.
Further, thank you to the Burrito Grill for hosting our final (outdoor and physically distant) fiesta this eve!

We are having the BEST time during our weekly learning fiestas!
Once a week I get to join this lil’ Señorita for her online Español classes, which also means once a week I practice my margarita skills. 😋
It has become my fav night of the week during COVID. I get to use my brain in a different way, I get to relive my old travel adventures in my head as I mispronounce the Spanish language to lovely faces on my computer screen, AND this whole time sitting in my pyjamas, no bra needed, drinking tequila. I mean, it’s not the same as being in Spain where I would still be doing El Camino De Santiago. But it’s as close as I can get from Kimberley, and I am pretty happy about it.

Muchas Gracias Risa Spanish

Recently I was able to create a crash course to help some of our local "do-gooders" learn some specific Spanish jargon to head south and help others. Wishing Christine and Sydney a safe adventure to Peru!

Q: When do they smother a burrito in cheese?
A: In best queso scenarios.
Thanks for coming this evening, amigos! It was great to learn and hangout outside the classroom with you all!

Risa Spanish took it to the streets tonight for some real-world context learning through collaboration with the Burrito Grill!
Students were able to put their knowledge to the test by ordering (and in Chantel's case - serving!) their dinner in Spanish.
MUCHAS GRACIAS a Chantel and the rockstar Burrito Grill staff for the authentic experience and delicious Mexican cuisine!
We are already planning another Fiesta with you for the end of the course and to perhaps make it our Monday night hangout spot "for the rest of our lives" -Luke Navrot.
