We're so happy to kick off year 12 of Building Blocks with two fabulous instructors! 🎉

Meet Joanne and Tammy!

🐝 🐝 Meet Joanne! She's been part of Building Blocks since the very beginning, helping caregivers across our communities feel confident about kindergarten readiness. In her spare time she's a beekeeper. Busy as a bee, indeed!

🌟 Meet Tammy! She spent more than 20 years working alongside families, helping them find creative ways for children to learn through play. In her words:

"I am looking forward to meeting you all and your children. So here's to learning through play, and meaningful encounters and friendships to come."

Come learn, grow, and sing with us!

👉 Registration is open:

We’re continuing our staff introductions, and next up is Sandra!

Sandra is our Promotions & Family Literacy Coordinator, helping spread the word about FCAL’s programs, events and opportunities while also supporting our Family Literacy initiatives by securing funding for our beloved Building Blocks Program.

You’ll often find Sandra behind the scenes (or in front of the camera!) creating posts, newsletters, flyers and all the other ways FCAL connects with our community. She loves finding creative ways to share what FCAL has to offer and make sure people know that there are always opportunities to learn, grow and connect.

Sandra is passionate about community and loves being involved in the many things that make the Flagstaff Region such a great place to live. Whether she’s promoting a new program, helping with Family Literacy or finding another way to bring people together, she’s always up for the challenge!
