Supporting online learning in Ontario / Funded by the Government of Ontario Our services are available in English and French.

Contact North | Contact Nord makes education and training accessible to Ontarians in every corner of the province. The goal is to increase the number of underserved Ontario residents who take online programs and courses from Ontario’s colleges, universities, indigenous institutes, and other providers while remaining in their community. We recruit and provide free support services to students in 1,500+ communities, in person at locations across the province, or by phone, email, live chat or virtually. The South Central region provides services to the following territories: Dufferin Wellington Simcoe, Grand River, Grey-Bruce, Mississauga Oakville, Niagara Region, South Simcoe, and York Region.

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation (colloquially known as Orange Shirt Day) recognizes the tragic legacy of the residential school system in this country.

🧡 Wear something orange today as you reflect on the harrowing story of Phyllis Webstad of the Stswecem'c Xgat'tem First Nation.

Phyllis’s new orange shirt was taken from her on her first day of school — and her experience has come to symbolize the loss of Indigenous culture that generations of Indigenous families have endured.
