It was an exciting morning birdwatching in the backyard.
First we watched a big flock of seagulls circle overhead (more than this but I was too slow to take a photo)
Then a friend noticed a bird in the neighbours maple tree and we got a good, long look at a big, beautiful hawk.

We have been taking it easy with planned activities this week as new friends settle in.
We did enjoy playing with bubbles and colouring some pictures earlier this week.
And today was a beautiful day for a walk to start looking for signs of Fall coming. Our favourite tree is already changing and dropping leaves.

Homemade pizzas for lunch. One ham and cheese and one pepperoni and cheese.
Both delicious and so much fun to make!
