I wanted to share with you an important update about our Early Childhood Development Support Centre.
The Early Years Professional Learning Support Sites will be closing on April 1, 2026, following changes in provincial funding allocations. Our library services [and all scheduled workshops] will continue as planned until the closure date.
If you have borrowed materials from the Tiny Cats Library, we would ask that you return them before March 31, 2026. Anyone lenders unable to do so before that date can return borrowed items to the Kingstec Campus Library. We are currently examining options of where we might be able to host these important resources so they remain accessible to those studying and working in this vital sector.
We appreciate your understanding, patience and support as we conclude our operations.
With gratitude,
Sara Bowman, Coordinator
Early Childhood Development Support Centre - Kingstec
We are located in the Business Development offices.
The Early Childhood Development Support Centre, Kingstec Campus serves the Early Childhood community from Windsor to Weymouth Falls, Digby County and has been in operation since March of 2003.

You are all highly skilled professionals, and I have valued all those connections made with you all through workshops, training, and educator networking.
Although I don't know where my path will lead, I look forward to meeting you again in the future.

February is African Heritage Month. The 52 African Nova Scotian communities have been present in Nova Scotia for over 400 years.
As Nova Scotian educators we should plan for regular opportunities to celebrate the history, culture, contribution, and achievements of people of African descent.
The EYPLSC is offering an engaging workshop 'Charting a Course Toward True Allyship' with Moashella Shortte.
The workshop aligns with all five core principles within the NSELCF, embodying interconnectedness and UBUNTU African philosophy.
