I am so excited to invite you to the Kentville Fire Hall this Sunday, Aug 16 for a Summer adventure you'll never forget! Come discover for yourself why so many people are falling in love with the most feared vertebrate on the planet!
This will actually be my first public event in downtown Kentville, my home town, so I hope to see some familiar faces but I'm eager to meet many many more. If you are nervous about snakes, don't worry, you are the NORMAL person here. These are weirdly-shaped animals that move & behave in weird ways, so apprehension is a healthy response. Once you see what they're REALLY like, however, and learn a little bit about their behaviour, you soon discover that they're just small animals and actually quite delightful to interact with!
I can't cure phobias, only you can do that, but I CAN provide a safe, affirming environment where you're free to push your boundaries without pressure or judgement. For many, simply being present is an incredible victory, and I'm eager to celebrate with you!

It's Wednesday, which means it's Kentville Farmers Market Day! It's the first sunny Wednesday I've had to myself in a while, so I hope to drop by with a pet this morning before it gets too hot. 🐍🌞
Fresh local produce & crafts, live music, delicious food & BBQ (and the odd chance of encountering a reptile) are all what makes this rare mid-week market a real hump-day treat! 🍰
Be sure to drop by Kentville's Centre Square today, 10:30am-1:30pm. 🎉

Fun fact: snakes, legless lizards and even caecilians (legless amphibian) are still classified as tetrapods, aka four-limbed animals.
They're just the sporty, streamlined models. 🐍💚

Super excited to be a part of the Aylesford Lions Club Family Fun Day this Saturday, Aug 1st. The party runs all afternoon from noon to 5pm and my pets and I will be dropping by from 1pm-3pm. Make a day of it! Hope to see you there!
